How frequent is a LOLER required ?
The frequency of LOLER testing depends on various factors, but a general guideline is that lifting machines for goods are inspected once a year, lifting machines for people are inspected every 6 months. Lifting accessories that connect a load to a lifting machine and lifting accessories for people (i.e. harnesses and lanyards) are also inspected every 6 months.
